Keeping term

Students are reminded that Cambridge is a residential University and, in order to qualify for your degree, you have to be in Cambridge for a specified number of nights each term (specifically 59 nights in Michaelmas Term, 59 nights in Lent Term and 52 nights in Easter Term).

If you need to be away from Cambridge for one or two nights during Term, you need to obtain permission from your Tutor. Longer absences may be permitted for compelling reasons but you have to discuss the implications for your studies with your Director of Studies and your Tutor and permission should be granted by the Senior Tutor.
